Four Tony RW Players Earn First Rwanda U20 National Team Call-Up

Tony RW has another major milestone to celebrate, as four of our players have received their first call-up to the Rwanda U20 National Team ahead of preparations for the AFCON U20 Qualifiers in Tanzania.

The selected players are:

• Ishimwe Fred (2009)

• Sheja Djibril (2007)

• Mugunga Daniel (2009)

• Dushime Jean Claude (2009)

  
  

This call-up marks another important step in the development of our young talents. For Ishimwe Fred, Mugunga Daniel, and Dushime Jean Claude, it comes just a year after representing Rwanda at U17 level — a sign of their rapid progression through the national team pathway, despite being born in 2009.

Sheja Djibril, born in 2007, earns his first U20 call-up as he joins the squad for the upcoming preparations.

We are incredibly proud of all four players and wish them the very best as they represent Rwanda on the road to the AFCON U20 Qualifiers.
