Tony RW U20 secured a convincing 4–0 away victory against Gicumbi U20, completing a match that had been postponed due to heavy rain.
The first 40 minutes were played on 9 May, with Tony RW already in control, holding a 2–0 lead before play was halted. Charles opened the scoring with a well-struck free-kick, and Fabrice added a second before the match was stopped.
When the remaining 50 minutes resumed on Sunday, Tony RW picked up right where they left off. Iradukunda came off the bench and scored twice to complete a dominant 4–0 victory on Gicumbi's home ground.
The match also marked an important milestone for the club, with four players born in 2011 making their U20 debuts. Cyusa Eddy and Aime Nelly Hagenimana were named in the starting lineup, while Bolingo Kevin and Alpha Niyogisubizo came off the bench to make their first appearances at U20 level.
Three important points and a performance full of quality — made even more special by the introduction of another exciting group of young talents into the U20 setup.
